DIY Frag Tank

I have a 20 gallon fish tank I want to turn into a frag tank. I would like to drill it for overflow and return because I do not want to run it full. I only want to run it maybe 10" deep. How can I tell if the glass is tempered? I bought it second hand and I do not see markings on it.

It's difficult to determine if you are using Tempered Glass since they look all the same. Economy Glass will show you how to identify them.

Thanks! I suppose I should have done an internet search. Sometimes I do not trust the stuff I see so still prefer someone with expertise to give guidance.
